Mornings I take along a granola bar or two. Evenings I take a Snickers bar and sometimes some hard candy. Always have a bottle of some sort of sport drink. I get real thirsty after dragging a deer out of the woods. ;)

Quite food that will not smell ofensive to deer.No crunchy munchies. I've got several gallon bags of dried apples ready for snacks. Rasins or other dried fruit for a change of pace. Peanut butter and Jelly for long day hunts.
I ALWAYS carry a box of raisins and a Kashi granola bar. It may take weeks for me to eat them as I only use these in the RARE occasion I get "pinned down".
More than once, I've had a buck I wanted come in a bed within sight so I waited for hours to get a shot if offered.
Also, more than once I have made a less than perfect shot on a deer that did not run out of sight before bedding. I generally wait till dark for my exit so as not to spook the animal.
