Anyone having any issues with squrriels digging up your corn? My dad is having the most awful time with this this year. This is the first year he's ever had any problems with it. He's had crows pull it up but never squrriels. Most of its about 3 to 4 inches high, but they dig it up and eat the actual corn seed, and as fast as he can replant it they dig it back up.

Just the other day,we was walking around his place and talking about the high number of squrriels around there, its nothing to be able to count 10+ squrriels. He's already shot 8 out of the garden,he doesn't wanna kill them, because he feeds em in the winter time, but doesn't know what else to do.Do they make something you can spray to keep them out?

He's got to choose between killing or feeding them in the winter. Or some kind of preventative..... sprinkle lots of ground cayenne pepper all over the ground where the corn is planted. They won't stick their faces in that anymore.
