Squirrel Haulers

I made a few squirrel haulers out of antlers that I'm going to try out. I prefer carrying squirrels like this over using a vest with a game bag.

Very similar. You only need to cut a slit in one of their paws to hold them.

They work great. @String Music has a much nicer and more comfortable to carry one than mine.

I use something similar. I sharpened the point on the clasp thing. No need to cut the foot, just push it through.

I always used a forked stick, but those are cool!

We always use Tig Rods bent to look like an oversized paper clip. They worked well also.

Cut a suitable length and size piece of dogwood, hard maple, arrowwood, etc... Sharpen one end. Take the back foot of said tree rat, cut a slit in the palm of his paw, and using the pointed end of said stick to "pry up" the tendon of one of his toes. Push stick through and string rats on it. I can get 5 on a stick and balance them out pretty easy.

Same here. We had an abundance of them. Army Surplus store that me and dad frequented about 10min from house.
