Pic attached showing the date, I didn't realize at first but the date on the video is blocked by bar at the bottom on YouTube. This was taken from a trailcam on private land in Rutherford County. I could be wrong but isn't it almost unheard of that you'd see a spotted fawn this late in Winter? The date is absolutely accurate on the camera.

He or she was still probably born in June, July , or August. It just keep its spots. I have seen deer killed that where 1.5yrs old that had faded spots.

Hunt just about everything

I caught 2 spotlighters on Nov 13 several years ago. They had a spotted fawn that weighed about 15 lbs. I put another one down in December that was about the same size. Also know of bowhunters killing does in October that were pregnant.

I watch deer in my backyard year round. Seeing a spotted fawn in December or January isn't the norm but I've seen enough of them at that time to not be that unusual.
