SCN, so glad you just had some special days turkey hunting.
The past few days have been very enjoyable to me as well,
even though I didn't pull the trigger on anything.
And, yes, those little 20 gauges are a joy to carry,
and turkey-killing machines!
The longbeard I saw die this morning succumbed to one of your 1 1/8 oz "reject" loads

Awesome write up and congrats on getting it done.
I feel your pain in regards to getting around in the woods lol. I had my 74th birthday a couple of months ago and I swear these ridges and hollows get steeper every year.
Good Lord willing we'll both be able to continue for many more years.
