Man and I were on the Cumberland last weekend and they just weren't biting too well.
I did manage to catch a 3# largemouth, best one in 2 years, on a lizard.
There was "something" in the water but I didn't pay much attention to it, thought it was just a leaf or something.
Ended up being a float of some kind attached to a cord that I assumed was to a trotline.
Anyway, I got hung up on it.
Got the boat over by it and pulled it up far enough to get my hook off of it.
What was amazing was, there was another hook on it that someone had broke off.
It had a 6" pumpkinseed lizard with the tail dyed red.
I was throwing an 8" pumpkinseed lizard with a chartreuse tail.
