I just got a pre 64 Win Model 70 in 264 Win Mag with a 26" barrel. My reloading manuals are weak at best with info for this round, and I was wondering if anybody has some good recipes for 120-130 gr bullets. I was going to try the 130 gr Accubond and Scirocco, and the 125 gr Partition. The guy I bought it from(a gunsmith) said he lengthend the thoat so bullets could be seated further out. Any info would be appreciated.

the only load I have tried so far was the 130 gr TSX... ppushed by 53.5 grains of IMR 4350

I have a Remington 700 with 26" Krieger barrel that shoots the 130 Accubond at 3300 fps with much H1000.

He told me he is going to put a Simmons 8 Point 3-9x40 on it.

Haven't played that much with a .264 and the only powder I used much was the former H-870.
A good friend of mine has used only one load with 120gr Nosler BT and 125 gr Partitions in his 264's IMR- 4350 and Fed 215. I don't know his exact charge though,but that load is in the old lyman manuals we talked about at the range a few weeks back. He started low and worked up to the max listed in it and hasn't changed since,and for darn good reason form what targets I've seen.BTW Sako's sound very similar.
BTW2-He has mentioned some of his friends have gotton great results with AA-8700 in theres. esp those who used to use H-870.
