Southern middle Tn rut

Anyone seeing much rut activity in southern middle tn? My last few stands have been very slow!

How far south? Seen more chasing two weeks ago than rutting activity this weekend. Didnt see any mature bucks this week either driving ir from the stand. I expect ut to pick up the week of thanksgiving. Pretty much the norm i would say

Seeing very little so far in wayne county and it wasn't full blast at LBL this weekend either..........what up with that?

I have been see alot of chasing in/around Tullahoma going to work in the mornings. I watched a mid 140s 10pt chase a doe for about 10 min, I was almost late getting to work from sitting and watching the show.

I'm in southern lawrence..They're just now starting to rub and scrape heavy.. I've been seeing a lot of small bucks cruising. Things are right on time for us this year. 2-3 weeks and it should be prime time to see some big boys chasing.

Yesterday I watched 3 young bucks feeding in a food plot at the same time as a few does paying each other no attention. This afternoon I set in box stand and saw four more young bucks with only a hunger pain on their mind heading toward a different plot. Last weekend I saw one chasing. This weekend they act like they don't realize does exist.

Watched young bucks running does hard yesterday. Seen two mature bucks hounding does today in Giles county. Keeps getting better round here!

Rutherford county report...young bucks hounding does pretty regular, as for mature bucks I've seen two now displaying dominant behavior characteristics such as bristling up at younger bucks and the 9 point I killed I rattled and grunted at him.he turned my way and stopped just long enough to rake a tree before he was ready to fight. I also have a few on trail camera checking scrapes about every 3rd to 4th day. However I haven't seen any mature bucks tending does yet...

My place in southern Giles seems to be about Thanksgiving week until December 10th.

But you can never tell from now until late January. Saw a nice older buck Saturday morning, he chased a Doe into a thicket, grunted a few times. They never came out though, I let him be, maybe see him at a later day.

In Lincoln County this weekend it was only lots of immature bucks. Business as usual, eating.

I saw NO does or yearlings, which is very strange for this property.
