Got up to Coker Creek a couple weekends ago and ran my sluice box. Got a few pieces of color but nothing to quit the job over. Was nice to be up there again...hadn't been in a few months. The water was EXTREMELY low though...places we'd stood in water up to our knees and waist in back in the winter, was just ankle deep at most.

I need to take an updated picture of all I've got. Not been at it that hard and already have nearly an ounce. Right now gold is looming around the $650 an ounce mark which is down by about $50 an ounce. You gotta look around for places that will give you top value dollar per what purity the gold is. Some places will give you only what its worth based on 10k or 14k. Nearly all gold you get out of the ground is packing a 20+k purity.
