We hunt in some swampy stuff in west TN and even with my thermacell, they were around. If there is any kind of wind, it doesn't work as well. Having said that, I absolutely love mine.

^^ this .... wind can be a major factor in how well it will work.
 
My hunting buddy called me on the way to the woods. He was already there. He wanted to know if I would go by his house to pick up his bow. I usually bring two of everything just in case he forgot his, I can loan him my extra. What are friends for?

I usually try and sneak my buddies release out of his bag when he isn't looking so I get to see him panic for a few minutes. :grin:
