Spurhunter said:Yall need to try that in the mississippi river bottoms. Sometimes I run 2 thermacells just to keep them from carrying me off. These mosquitoes will stand flat footed and have relations with a chicken.

You can remember all the details of the information you provide us with every day but you forget your bow?
I don't know about you Bsk... :D

I am the proverbial "absent-minded professor." I can remember the most useless research trivia from 20 years ago, but I can never remember why I am even going where I'm going or doing what I'm doing at the time. Why did I walk outside? Why do I have my truck keys in my hand? Was I going somewhere? I know it sounds crazy, but at least a half a dozen or more times a day I find myself standing in a room of my house and have absolutely no idea how I got there or why I went there. I had a reason at one time, but I've completely forgotten it in the time it took to walk across the house. This habit, which I've had all my life, can be a tad irritating (to both me and those who have to live with me). My only excuse is that my mind is usually running a million miles an hour on some obscure concept or idea to the point my "spatial awareness" and short-term memory cease to function.
I can be a shockingly unaware "space cadet." I mean, who else would park their ATV on the railroad tracks and never really comprehend that that might not end well? Honestly, it never really crossed my mind. I was busy thinking about other things at the time.
