Smokey Tennessee Valley

I woke up this morning smelling smoke in my house. I'm probably 15-20 miles from the nearest wildfire.
Come to discover, the entire chattanooga area is blanketed in smoke!
I couldn't help but wonder how all this smoke would affect deer & other animal hunting.
I suspect the smoke would make for awesome cover scent but then wonder if the smoke would also send the deer away, or perhaps keep them bedded down....
Anyone care to offer an opinion?

In a tree in the Harrison area. It's eairly quiet. Cold morning, should be some good movement.

Been smokey for about 2 weeks on and off here in Morgan county. Just depends on which way the wind is blowing
