More than satisfied with the work this guy does. The pictures don't do this mount justice with the bad lighting in the man cave. I'll have to get him in some better light later.

Scott Massey is the guy who did it. His website is www.masseytaxidermytennessee.com His pictures on the site don't do justice to how good this guy really is. Most of them are from when he first started out. He has a coyote he is doing now and it looks great. More than fair prices.

I can't say for sure. My scale showed 5 pounds 8 oz. I checked it against water weight for a gallon and it was reading low. I did the formula for length/girth of a smallmouth and it showed 6 1/2 pounds. Wish I had a certified scale to weigh him on but I didn't. A good guess would be between 6 and 6 1/2 I would imagine.

She swallowed the rattle trap and it killed her. Wish I could have left her swimming.

I got home later that night and took the battery out my scale and let it sit. Put the battery back in and it started reading right for gallon of water. The fish was at the taxidermist by then.
