Slab crappie

Went through Sardis for 2-1/2 days of tight line crappie fishing. We ended up with 41 12"+ crappie and figured we threw back 150+ 11-1/2".



2 2 lb crappie on the last day



My buddy caught this 2.55 which he threw back because of all the sores on it with one had pus

Very nice slabs. People don't realize what a treasure we have here catching 2-3 lb crappie. Very few places that can be done with regularity.

Nice! My parents live in Oxford but unfortunately my dad gave up fishing a few years ago for health reasons and I'm not close enough to get over there to take him.

Good deal. How deep and what'd you catch them on? Where'd you put in? Have you tried Enid or Arklabutla yet?

They were 6-10' on mats and stake beds on Bobby Garland jigs. We are going to try Arklabuta next week. Heard they ar be ting good

I never catch the numbers at Arklabutla but there are some hosses there.
