skipjack @ steam plant ????

can you load the livewells with skipjack at the steam plant now ?
want to get all the catfishin cutbait I need for the summer,,but need to try to do it in one trip down if possible...

You can at New Jonsonville steam plant. Don't know about the Gallatin Plant.

There are probably still some at the steam plant. They tend to crowd in below Cordell Hull Dam this time of year too.

i'm hoping it's just cyclical but i really have no idea. i like the 12-18 inch fish live for stripers but the last couple of years, they have been rare to nonexistant. what few we did catch were 3-5 lbs.

I can spend half the day chasing them around at the steamplant and maybe fill a cooler, or I can make the drive down to Pickwick dam and catch 1000lbs by 2pm or so.

And not have to launch or clean the boat.
