I saw a group of 8 or 9 red heads on public land while fishing a few days ago. No gobbling but I might have seen a strutter while driving by. when we parked and crossed the field they ran off and I could not tell if they all were toms. But that doesn't matter because even if some jakes they will all be toms next year!
