Is there any kind of way to tell if something is wrong with your scope?
I have a hammers scope on a rem.270 can not get it dialed in for some reason this year.

Not sure if its me or the scope.

Nothing made me want to adjust it. Just shot it before the youth hunt and it hit no where on paper. Had a buddy of mine shot and again no where on paper.
We made some adjustments got it on paper but no where near where I want it.

What won't it do?
It don't shoot where you aim.

Big Gun I thought that to until a friend of mine (JP) and my son shot it.

Most of the time it is either a loose scope or the scope took a jolt at some point and knocked it out of whack. Clean the gun really well and make sure all of the screws are tight on the mount. Make sure you use a good rest. Shoot it again. Does it have rifle sights also? If it does and it still does not group, take off the scope and shoot it with the rifle sights and see if it is any better. If it doesn't, try swaping out the scope if you have another laying around.
