Sighted in today

Hit the range today to get my 3 rigs ready for the upcoming firearms season. Got my Knight .45 ready first. Switching over to 200 grain .40 cal saboted ssts and looking forward to seeing how those perform on deer. Next, I switched to a load I'd worked up for my .270 that shot .75 moa. Loaded up 20 of those last week and just needed to finish sighting in today. Shot one and it was 4 inches high at 100, one inch right. Shot another before adjusting. Looked through the spotting scope and only saw one hole!!!!!!! Those are with 130 grain barnes ttsx's. made the adjustment and was 2" high at 100 on the next shot.
Finally finished up with a Model 7 in 7mmSAUM that I'm shooting some cheap corelokt stuff through b/c I've not had time to develop loads. Shot 1" Moa at 100 yds, so I'm not complaining.

You are going to like those SSTs on deer. The 200 gr 40 is a real good bullet.

Sounds like you're all set for the season.

im about to switch to the sst's for the mz. love them out of a my 270 so I think ill love them out of my mz. sounds like you are dialed in.

I was definitely impressed with the trajectory of the 200 grain sst compared to the 285 lead bullets I as shooting before. I was about 2" high at 50 yards and took it out to 100 yards and was nearly dead on...
