side lock help

Get yourself some 490 round balls, 015 patches powder.Start at 50 grns and work your way up.I use dishwashing soap and hot hot waterto clean with. Also might pick up some bore butter. If you want to increase your accuracy try some felt wads between your powder and patched round ball.

Some FF grade black powder or Pyrodex would be the right powder to use. If it is a cap lock you might want to get some caps , most take number 11 caps by Remington.

If you are trying to get the breechplug out, I dont think that they were made to be removed. Can you post pics of your rifle?

cant take it out Why are you trying to take the breechplug out? Some FF grade black powder or Pyrodex would be the right powder to use.
