Shwacker broad heads?

No. I started using them about 2 years ago and the are by far the best broad I've ever shot. I've tried rage, muzzy's, g5's and thunderheads but I can't speak for the rest of them. I've killed 6 deer with the swhacker's and none of them made it past 60 yards a couple only made it 20. The blood trails are crazy. And they are very accurate, they fly just like my field tips.

I just bought some for this season. For no reason other than wanting to try something new. I can't see how they would fail. It would suck if it didn't pass through because of the little entrance hole, but I don't think it will matter.

I used them last year and lost two deer. I had a nice 8pt slightly quartering to me at 20yrds. I thought I made a good shot. He jumped, and kicked like I hit him. I also heard him make a Uff sound when the arrow hit. He ran about 40 yrds and then stopped and started walking straight away from me through the trees. I lost where he went. I waited about 2 hrs then got down. I never found my arrow, and never found 1 drop of blood. I searched for 2 hrs and still never found any trace of blood or the deer. I came back the next day and searched for another hour and still no blood or deer. I know I hit him but to not find any blood is dis-concerning. The doe I shot was the same way. except she was aprox 30 yrds and quartering away. Again no blood. The other 2 deer I shot last year had good blood trails and were easy track jobs. I am chocking the loses up to bad shot placements, but I switched to rages for this year, just in case.

I have heard good things about them. The biggest reason I don't shoot mechanicals is that I was able to pick a dozen Muzzy 100 grains last year on clearance for $20 dollars per pack of six. And I'm stubborn. I have been lucky, I guess. The 3 deer I've killed with my bow have run 50 yards, 15 yards, and one dropped in his tracks.

No personal experience with them, but after seeing some of the shots on broadside deer on a couple of hunting shows, and the absolute massive loss of blood, I'd probably choose to use them if I were to use a mechanical.

I've tried a ton of different heads, i have been using swhackers for years and have killed plenty of deer with them, I absolutely love them. I won't even consider using a different broad head!!

been useing them for 3 years now they are great if you make a good shot with them but like anything else make a bad shot and you will be looking forever.

They do a lot of damage (same as rage 2 blades) however they are Much better built! I have killed deer at many different angles and distances and I'm very impressed with them!

I hunted with them but haven't killed anything yet, I just couldn't deal with the Rage anymore. Nothing more frustrating than your blades dangling around cause of poor design.

My experience has been good and bad, tough head for sure. I shoot 64 lbs and last year I shot 5 deer and this was my experience-

Doe at 22 yds, pass through great blood trail, ran 40 yds
Doe at 24 yds, pass through great blood trail, 60 yds and expired
Doe at 21 yds, quartering away, pass through great blood trail, ran 75 yds
Doe at 43 yds, broadside, only a entrance wound, no blood trail, lost deer and arrow
Doe at 46 yds, broadside, only a entrance wound, no blood trail, lost deer and arrow

I would recommend 30 yds or less shots at deer and or pull 70 lbs and keep shots under 40 yds

You ain't kidding!!!!! That's why I won't use a rage ever again!!

I will never use any mechanical head again, ive had bad experiences with all of them, i shoot muzzy or slick trick. They hit right where my field points do but if your bow isnt tuned properly they want fly right, i like the 4 bladed heads
