Shot the Encore 45/70 Smokeless Conversion (pics)

I got the Encore conversion out this afternoon, here's my three shot group from 100 yards off a bipod. 34.5 grains of N-110, Harvester light-blue sabot, 200 XTP.

Howa, who did your conversion? I had a CVA Apex 45-70 done, really like it. Isn't that a pretty light load for N110? I think I was doing 45 grs.in mine. Then I went to 58 grs. of IMR4198 with 195 g. Barnes, the Apex really liked it.

Conversion was done by SMI. It is a little on the light side, but not really, this one is for my 2 kids, I've got a Remi 700 conversion for myself. 40 grains of N110 was completely shredding the sabot so I backed her off a bit, it'll still get her done though.

When you did the conversion, how did you deal with the ramrod? Don't see one on the gun in pic.

Howa, I'm in the process of doing a 45-70 conversion for my Apex also, nice shooting, did you try the TAN MMP's and see how they held up.
