I set up in a area where i shot one of my long beards this spring with catman. i must have got blown at 20 times walking in it seemed as if deer were everywhere at daybreak i saw 2 coons in the next hour i seen 2 bucks one old mature 8 pt that schooled me on movement and how easy they pick it up i would have to guess this deer had to be 5.5 yrs and 13 does didnt have opportunity to draw my bow back on several i clean missed a doe at 20 yds my next shot was slightly quartering to me i sent one to the fletching in her chest she ran 40 yds and i heard her crash the deer that was with her stayed to long and i put a perfect double lung shot on it it turned out to be a button buck after about 1hr i climbed down recovered the second deer first he fell in sight then i started tracking the first deer i ended up jumping her and watched in horror as she ran i ended up losing sight of her and blood tracked her to private property it was disappointing to lose her other than that it was a good morning saw the most deer in one sit this year and i donated my first deer like i do every year i hope tomorrow is as exciting
