My 6.5 creedmoor. The first 2 shots are at the bottom. I moved it up. Not the tightest groups but I feel like we will get it done 😂

IF that was at 100 yards that would probably explain why you were not hitting anything with that gun according to that other post you made.

3 shots inside your fist is angle of barn to a lot of these guys. But it should get the job done.

Not trying to bash you but I see could why you missed . Truth is all I know ....I'd get a couple or three within at least an inch of one another patterned . Sorry honey but you're all over the place....add a little wind with being a tad nervous you could easily miss a deer @ 100 yards . Love you but Truth always wins .

Why were the first two shots so low if it was already sighted in? Something isn't right. Is everything tight? Care to share your setup with us? What gun, scope, rings, etc?
No reason every shot shouldn't have been in that little square box (looks like 1.5").
Not bashing you...just trying to help.

Not doubting your ability.. but I would let someone else shoot it.. then maybe tighten the action bolts up a few pounds and try again.. I've seen 3" groups, drop to 1 inch groups, just by upping the torque on the bolts..

The first 2 shots were before I adjusted. I usually shoot twice to make sure I know where im at. I was propped up on a shooting stick. Definitely will be getting a bench and a sturdier shooting spot in the future lol.

If that's from a bench I'd check the scope base and rings to make sure everything is tight. If so maybe let somebody else shoot it to see what it does. Also do you "pull" the trigger or "squeeze" it? I was bad about pulling until I started paying attention to my breathing and slowly squeezing the trigger. Good luck!

I see a dead deer. This is a aiming method used in early settler days. Shoot low the first 2 times to take the legs out, followed by 3 rapid shots in the vital areas while the deer is immobile. You have less ammo/weight to carry making drag out easier.

I understand this, but is this the rifle you were missing with a couple weeks ago...or a new setup? If the one you were missing with...you have your answer...it was off. But something still doesn't seem right.
Sticks can be difficult to shoot off of. Try bracing them against something solid and lean into them. It could help.

I recommend you determine your own effective range. This is what I mean. For that group, your effective range is a maximum of 33 yds. My standard is 1 MOA from what ever I can shoot from my deer stand or blind in an ideal and calm situation. We all know, it's never an ideal and calm situation when shooting a deer. So, this minimum standard allows for nerves, moving deer, less than ideal shooting position, etc.

If you are comfortable with this effective range, then you are GTG. Otherwise, make some changes for improvement.

Same gun I missed with a few weeks ago.

Not going to try to criticize, but sighting is really best done from a solid hold position, whether it's a rest on a bench , prone with a bipod, bench with bags, or something like a bog death grip tripod. That way you can remove as much of your potential movement as possible. Shooting sticks may allow too much movement imo for sighting in or making scope adjustments.

I would shoot it off a bench, picnic table, something solid...see what it's doing. I don't mean this as an insult, but...I've never seen a 6.5cm shoot that poorly. Something isn't right.
My guess though is that it's the sticks. I use sticks when hunting..as I said, they can be difficult. Heck...I can see my heart beating in the scope when using them. Best to brace them with something.

Wish you were closer! Ive got a steel table in the back yard and target and backstop at 100 yards. Get the most steady rest you possibly can to zero from! Sticks wont cut it. Short bipod on the front and laying prone with either a bag or your fist as a rear rest is pretty dang solid and is pretty easy to replicate in the field. People that know me say Im crazy for not being satisified with a gun or load until its 3 shots in .75 at maximum, saying a deers vitals are the size of a pieplate. My response is what if all I can see is an eye? If I cant hit that eye Im not hunting with it!

Oh definitely! Usual prop up on my Ranger and I can get pretty steady. I'm planning on getting a led sled or something like that to help me.

Oh I agree those groups ought to be a lot better than they are. Yesterday I did so much and was so busy I finally threw my hands up and said ima going huntin! Then decided to try to shoot it and get it a little more on point.

I squeeze. I'm comfortable with the gun and love shooting it. I used to do the same thing pull it lol get too excited!
