Alot could happen by next year. If you are wanting to take him go ahead and harvest him, he looks awful nice now. But waiting a year is a very long time and there is no guarantee he would be here next year.
Lol you wouldn't even consider passing up that buck. That's a shooter anywhere.I walk alot of mature deer. I am fine with not killing a buck if it isn't exactly what i want. I always want one more yr on the deer. Even for me, that would be a very hard pass.
That's not the case. If that deer walked by me today I would've passed it no questions asked, but with that said I know it isn't nearly as large as the angled up ohotos make it look. I'd figure still close to 155" and maybe more but the photos look 170" (particularly the first"Lol you wouldn't even consider passing up that buck. That's a shooter anywhere.
Awesome buck even with the extra point the deductions is pretty minimal still could probably make B&C , congrats to the hunter . Super nice buck indeed !!!Update

Yeah, he's pretty darn special this year. You don't see that many bucks with 40" of mass, 70" of tines and 50" of beams. Congrats to the lucky hunter. Is this a TN buck? If so, which region of the State? When was he killed?
Neither do I but just like the President election it is what it is using that scoring and voting system .Congrats! I'll never understand point deductions.
Thank you! Congrats again!Middle Tn buck killed in late December
