shell pouch

Every year I wear out a hevi shot box toting it around because it is 5he perfect size to put in the vest. Does anyone know of anything similar to hold 5 shells that won't wear out? A pouch or something?

Ha Ha. Only time I ever shot all three I had misjudged the yardage. One time I shot twice. So I guess I did run out once but 5 more wouldn't have mattered. LOL

in all honestly i have a buddy that uses a small tackle box plastic insert and works good for him for when they are not in his gun. .

Sometimes but most of the time I have a vest, I usually carry shells in the shell holders of the vest but the cabelas vest doesn't have them as far as I can tell, I bought a tactical tatr2.

I carry a 10 gauge and a 12 and carry a spare lead shell mst times in case I ever need it.

I've also seen guys use a choke case (the one that holds 3 chokes) as a shell holder. it only holds 3 but is a fast and easy way to store them till you put them back in the gun.

... I bought a tactical tatr2.

Same vest I have. I put 3 extra shells in a half sized ziplock sandwich bag (a.k.a snack size) and store them inside the vest in the mesh zippered pocket area.

I use the shell loops in my vest. If I'm not wearing it, I just put them in my pocket.
