Had this doe and another come in the food plot at 3:30. After almost 36 hours on stand in 3 days I had decided to kill a doe on Friday morning. I knew this blind was wrong for the wind direction. But being it was so cold I chanced it anyways. Had deer out there all morning yesterday and never caught my scent. But this afternoon she wasn't having it. She walked in the plot and immediately knew something wasn't right. Then she let out a blow and started to trot off. It was a split second decision and i had an itchy trigger finger. High shoulder shot as you can see . Shot was around 70 yards. She ran about 60 (I don't know how) and piled up.

I was really just ready to kill something with the 7mm-08 i bought from a member here. I am very pleased with the results!

Nice ! I was gonna take a doe or two before heading back to Mo but never did. Kept thinking "HE" will be following her if I do !! lol

Never did see "him".

From last weekend til now have seen around 50 deer or so. Probably 12-15 bucks i would say. Biggest being 2 in the 120" range. Seen some chasing Saturday and Monday but yesterday and today bucks don't care at all about the does. It's weird.

Nothing makes me pull the trigger on a doe faster than one blowing at me lol. Congrats on your deer!
