Big oaks, clearing the undergrowth. Not able to clear or thin the big trees this year. Iron clay peas in the spring? forage oats in the fall? How well will they grow with moderate sunlight getting through? Clover will be in other areas. Looking for attraction plots to get more deer coming over the ridge to the property. Would like to have something high in protein, yield and attraction. Am I dreaming?

shady plots are more likely to do better with wheat,or the like, the other problem you will have will be leaves in the fall.I&C peas will take some sun I would think, plus if your talking about a small area, deeer will just wipe em out in a couple of nights.
