This is probably a really dumb question, but does the moon affect their feed times? The same thing happened to me yesterday and to my buddy this morning. It's like a light switch flipped at 8. The weather was great so moon was only thing I could come up with??
I firmly believe it does. I have heard them cutting under a full moon before daylight.
Great hunt. The ol 880 sq has oresided over many squirrel funeral!
Great weather morning, great shooting and great hunt. I'm most impressed that you shot 3-4 squirrels before I can see in my hardwoods here in SW TN. What part of the State? Middle or East TN would be my guess. Thanks for sharing.
