Ok guys,i bought a stevens 200 in 7mm08 to keep in my truck, and just recently bought a mini 14 ranch rifle to replace it with,i have a few people interested in the rifle for their kids just wondering what i should ask for it, it has a black synthetic stock,it was gray and i painted it,has an old cheap simmons 3x9x40 scope, and 2 boxes of remington 140grn core lokts, its not a must sell situation just wondering what a fair price would be.This little rifle is a tack driver, but i also recently bought a rem sps 308 and none of my rifles shoot any better that this one,so i knownthe 7mm08 wouldnt get used anymore, thanks for any help fella's

Seems you can get them new for around $340.So with the ammo and scope,i'd say it otta be worth $300.

If it's in really good shape, I'd ask for 75% of new cost. In other words, I think a lot of people (myself included) would pay 25% more for a new gun over used, just for reduced risk.

Last year I bought an 8 year old gun with a few dents and scratches in the finish, but no rust, with an old model scope, for less than half what the same gun (without scope) would cost.
