Past couple hunts I've been seeing some groups of does but not any bucks with them. Talking to a few buddies they are having the same situation. Anyone else seeing a lot of does with no bucks? I just know that buck will be tailing one of those does any day now.

Yep that's all I'm seeing too. I like watching them but im really trying to hold out for a buck. They are bound to come out eventually!

I agree. Gotta love watching the does, but gotta love watching that brute come behind her with his nose to the ground!

Saw some chasing in Fayette county last weekend, but it was a young buck and she wasn't ready...He was too small to shoot (only six point and limit was 8 on the farm). I think the rut out west is about a week to ten days away...

Seeing the same thing in Wilson county. I was seeing way more bucks then does about a month ago and I haven't seen a buck in about a month. Seeing groups of 2-4 does and they seem very relaxed. I am hunting some pretty heavly pressured public ground so maybe the bucks are only moving at night. Any opinions?

All we are seeing is bucks. We can hardly buy a doe sighting.

same in Rutherford as i stated in my other post. In fact i told my brother the same thing in Wilson co on Sunday, "I can't buy a doe sighting", but he had 3 on him.

MID TN rut is weird to me though, due to high doe populations, at least that is my opinion.
