They said it carried nearly 7" mass all the way out. That's coke can thick. I'd say that's why his hands look so tiny. The rack is really that big.
If that's an official score he don't have to do anything to make the rack look larger do you.think ?

Looks like he took the buck to JCPenny for a family portrait and they pulled down their fall scene background for the shoot.
I don't see him doing anything to try to make it look bigger. He's sitting up against the deer and no outstretched arms going on.
Heck of a deer and the mass is unreal. I think the background looks "off" cause he's brighter than the background which is probably cause of artificial light from the camera focused on him. I'm sure the photo is "edited" just for clearness and brightness reasons but I don't think it's a "fake"

I seen a picture one of our own shot of a buck he killed and I couldn't believe the clarity of that picture . And I'm sure he didn't photoshop that picture. Cameras on just phones now a day amaze me . At least this guy isn't trying to pull anything like the Rapola buck and heck no one actually proved his to be a fake but his actions cause others to judge him to be a fake .

To me that deer seems noticeably larger than the Milo Hanson buck. I'd really like to see them side by side.
The Hanson buck replaced the jordan buck as the highest typical of all time. Saw an article about the jordan buck story (amazing story) that came out shortly after hanson buck was harvested and claimed the top spot. It said the Jordans buck antlers weighed almost double what the rack of the Hanson buck weighed. Plus the Jordan buck was probably 100 pounds heavier. The Jordan buck had always been the most impressive to me.

Maybe he had the photo enhanced so that there would be more contrast for him and the deer. Or maybe Petersen's did it for the magazine.
And at least a few that are relieved. Arby's ain't the only one with the meat. Dang.
Yeah I think I heard that, too. Not sure I'm able to get my head around that deer being only a 3yr old. What a freak.
