That's a Goliath buck and he was hung too!
As I recall from last year, he called a buddy who is a photographer to come out to the property.

Wow! Lotta sad does, I'm sure.
I think the guy has his hands pulled down in gloves to make them appear smaller and the rack bigger. Something is not right about this "photoshoot"

He did an episode of the MeatEater podcast earlier this year. Pretty cool hearing the story of how the hunt played out. Seems like a good dude too.
They said it carried nearly 7" mass all the way out. That's coke can thick. I'd say that's why his hands look so tiny. The rack is really that big.
If that's an official score he don't have to do anything to make the rack look larger do you.think ?

Looks like he took the buck to JCPenny for a family portrait and they pulled down their fall scene background for the shoot.
I don't see him doing anything to try to make it look bigger. He's sitting up against the deer and no outstretched arms going on.
Heck of a deer and the mass is unreal. I think the background looks "off" cause he's brighter than the background which is probably cause of artificial light from the camera focused on him. I'm sure the photo is "edited" just for clearness and brightness reasons but I don't think it's a "fake"
