This season was a pretty good one considering last season I never even saw a mature buck, I saw the biggest buck I've ever seen while hunting during bow season, of course he never made it close enough and would be killed on the neighboring property with two weeks left in the season.

My wife killed this 4.5 year old 8 point after it ran off a 130" 3.5 year old 8, she snort wheezed at it to make it get closer. Fayette county buck.

I took these does late in the season on a friends farm in Fayette county, the doe on the front was the biggest doe I've ever killed, wish I would have weighed her but to show you better the doe on the back is an average sized adult doe

Looks like a great year to me! Congratulations to your wife on that buck for sure. I saw the doe with the already existing wound the other day and meant to comment. That's absolutely unbelievable that it could survive a wound like that and still be up and around.

You two have had a great year.

Was there a bullet path through the deer, or only just a single hole?

I didn't really look to be honest but I didn't notice an entry wound

Congrats Easy on a great season. Did you ever see that buck we both had pics of in 2015? I never got a pic of him this past season even though I had multiple pics of him in 2015 and had a camera up for 3 mos and got hundreds of pics, I never got even one of him and now worried he's dead.

Not gonna lie, I don't remember which deer it was.

Congrats on your season! Had lots of different buck pics just SW of where you hunt early on but not so many into and through the season. If half the better ones on camera make it through the year there should be a few more shooters available in the area.

Same with us, lots of 3.5 and 4.5 year old bucks, I didn't recognize any of them in the Ames pics, I believe the only deer I got a pic of that y'all killed was that 150" 8 point

And that buck was killed a couple miles from you Easy. It's amazing how far they can travel.
