I got this 70 acre big woods tract of land to hunt.I just started hunting it this week, killed the lil 6pt off of it tuesday, went back today and hunted the same spot, and saw 1 doe. On my way back out,I thought i'd do a quick scout of the left side of the property.Upon walking 50 yds from where I park I found a big,and I mean big fresh scrape, that was full of deer tracks and looked to be just made last night or yesterday. Then I walked a little farther and found another scrape full of tracks. There is a real good open spot in the woods just beyond the scrapes about 150yds from my truck.
I've been hunting about midways of the property.Do you think it would be worth hunting those scrapes even though its really only 150yds from the road?I wouldn't be facing the road at all.Im thinking about hunting it in the morning, but im not sure if it would be worth my time,it don't seem right hunting that close when im used to walking in so deep.
