Scope mounts for TC Encore

[RUGER]

Got a 7mm rem mag barrel and a .308 win barrel that I am going to mount scopes on in the next couple of weeks.
Got the highest quality glass that I have ever owned to put on them. I just hope the barrels / rifles are accurate enough to warrent the Zeiss scopes I have to put on them.
What is the absolute best base / ring combo to use on them?
I would much rather the barrels be the same diameter all the way down so you could put traditional one piece, or even two piece bases on them, but alas you gotta put them all on one end.
Never understood why they couldn't start the taper farther down.
Anyway, suggestions?

Talleys amen. I got them on everthing i own and havent moved a scope adjustment in 3 years.

Hmmm, seems like I have heard Talley one piece mounts are pretty good.
Would that be a good choice?

I have a Talley one piece on my Encore. As I get the money Talleys will go on all my guns.

just put a set of talley lightweights on my savage ml-II and just got the one piece for a guys encore. Look em up online. Also use the talley steel rings and bases on all my deer rifles. You can give them a call at 803-854-5700
