Scope for 1894 Marlin 44 mag

What do you guys recommend for a Marlin 1894 44 ma. I am mounting the XS sight rail and sights but would like to have a quick release mounted scope for longer range deer hunting. I thought about the Nikon slug hunter 200 with bdc reticle. Any other suggestions ? Would like to stay $200 or less

I'd go with the Burris Scout scope 2-7x32 with the XS scout mount rail. Works great on that gun.

That sounds good. I would only need it from appx 100 yds to maximum 150 yds. I will also use this as a starter youth rifle.

What about a Nikon with bdc retinal. The 44 mag falls off so quickly. If I keep up with my yardage the bdc might be good too .

I have a Bushnell Trophy 1.75-4x32 w/a DNZ Game Reaper 1 piece Mount on my .44 Marlin.
I have the same setup on my 45-70 - holds zero.

Don't have the Scout but my son's 30-30 has the 2-7x32 Compact on it. Terrific scope for the money.
