putting some new glass on the 7mag next month, got 250 to spend lets here some suggetion.

Bushnell Elite 3200 3x9x40 if you're wanting new. Amazon has them for about $200.
I've been out the loop for a couple of years but for $250 that is about the best scope in my opinion.

The Bushnell Elite 3200 3x9x40 is a great scope for the money. However, I did not feel that it had enough eye relief for my 7mag. I switched it to my 243 and got a Leupold. Redfield's are good scope's as well, in your price range, and have good eye relief.

Nikon monarch 2.5x8x32 it has at least 4" of eye relief up to 8 power. You can find them brand new on eBay for $250
