Is it legal to have a scanned PDF of my license and hunters ed cert on my phone in place of my printed copies?

Forgot my license in my tackle box last week, and realized once I parked to go hunt. Skipped the hunt because of this, but now have a copy on my phone just in case.

Yes, if the license with all of the information can be "zoomed up" where the officer can read it without needing reading magnification .
