Remington A-3 03 In 30-06
Guy said it was WW1 era and had it for more than 25 years himself but I dont know if it was that old....I got a good idea they were used in Vietnam after armorer work.... and this one had been fully floated and bedded with a nice trigger assy. that I know wasnt factory.I would have bought it for the 450.00 he was asking for sure....had a big steel Redfield on it that I have never seen anything like.
steel was like new and the wood was great...stock had a real high comb and the raised cheek piece felt like it was ment to be there you know?
wish I could have brought it home....

Definately wasn't a 1903A3, that was WW2 vintage. Might have been a 1903 that was sporterized.

If it was stamped "A-3 03" it wasn't WW1 vintage from what I've read on them,those are mid 30's an on. Could have been touched up by the military and used as a Target or Sniper Rifle but from the sound of it likely post service.
