Well shame on me,missed 2 and last year I couldn't miss,had to cut my shirt tails 2 times since Saturday,I got mad and set up target,all over,changed liner and stacking them again :oops: ,Will never start the season with a vent liner with more than 10 shots on it :( :( you all take a note and don't follow my lead :shock:

Mike, get your plug to me after season and I will modify it for a bushing. It will last forever with the loads you shoot.

Have u drilled the breech out yet ? Them vent liners last longer than 10 shots

Get a 5/32 drill bit and drill it out from the side your primer goes in and that should solve your problem.

40 shots shouldn't wear out a ventliner with saboted loads. Should last 200-300 shots.....Jerry should be able to give more insight. Bushing plugs are great until the $80 bushing cracks. Either way it's a very generous offer by Jerry to machine your plug. Good luck rest of season.

Guess they lowered the price since so many were not holding up.

Tungsten carbide have been $30ish as long as i can remember. The pure tungsten were more expensive and had some issues with cracking but i never remember them being $80 just for the bushing. Plugs with a bushing have been around $80 for quite awhile.

Maybe that's what I'm thinking of..... I have both and personally if just shooting sabots I'd stick with vent liners.

I have a vent liner that's stripped out. I'm not as concerned with wear as I only shoot sabots, but rather buildup. Since I can't drill I soaked it in Hopp's overnight. Is this ok until I can get the liner out somehow?
