Savage 220F 20 gauge?

Anybody have any experience with this one?

I got drawn for a shotgun hunt here in VA and this one sounds like a real winner of a slug gun.

Of course, I value TNDeer hands-on opinions way more than random internet write-ups, so please tell me what you know.

I have heard nothing but good things about them. Suppose to be a 200yd shooter with the right slugs. Go out to the shotgun world website and go to the slug shooters forum. There are allot of good writeups by owners over there.

200 yds out of a shotgun? Wow! Just goes to show what I know. I would have thought 100 yds was a long shot.

I do know that Savage makes great rifles. They may not be all that pretty, but pretty don't kill deer. Savage is one of the most accurate rifles, straight out of the box.
