He may get a reality check this wknd when we make our first ever trip to Nickajack for the High School State Tourn? Ive never made a cast in it! Plan to practice Thurs and Fri but im concerned.

That tide can turn in a hurry but might as well ride it as far as you can. Confidence is a huge part of fishing and especially tournament fishing. Hopefully, that will carry over to next wknd for him.

How many lbs did they have? That looks like a pretty good sack of fish for that pond. Has he culled ol Dad for another partner? :)

I hear ya Larry confidence is absolutely huge, especially tournament fishing! He hasn't culled me yet :grin:, he just has way more time to fish right now than I do and Ive got a few buddies that love to fish with him so gets a lot of invites!!
