Went out yesterday eve, and have been out Monday of this week as well. I've seen does and small bucks every trip this week, and even seen a couple bucks still hanging together, just feeding. The does that came under me last evening were just a little nervous, but their hocks were still relatively white. I think, for my area, that the week of Thanksgiving will be ramping up the rut activity this season, as opposed to the couple weeks before the last few seasons. This is how it used to time out back in the 80's and 90's mostly around here for me.
