Edited: after sleeping on it I've calmed down a bit. Absolutely, people on their own property have the right to shoot whenever/however they want during hunting season. It was the sustained fire after dark that rubbed me the wrong way.
 
Sorry to hear that man but try and look on the bright side. You have something a lot of guys would love to have, a place to hunt in Shelby County. There is always next time.

Yes, I don't hunt out that way but know the HIGH demand that Shelby co. Hunting land is.
 
we hear the DOE security practicing all the time with FULL AUTO weapons. the deer don't care. couldn't count how many times deer have had to be ran off the rifle range at oak ridge sportsmans club. the deer don't mind.
