Ruger, I’m getting into this duck project.

I think I got this. 153 so far. I think i will need to make a new form next. Maybe do 20-30 at a time. They seem to be getting bigger. :lol:

That board gets hot and warps every which way and is slowly burning out. I set it outside when i leave the shop, don't want to burn the shop down with it spontaneously combusting.

But seriously, would zinc work for this? Many tire shops have switched from lead to zinc and steel wheel weights, I bet bullet casters would happily trade their zinc for lead.

Theoretically, it is just as easy. However, the density of zinc is half that of lead, so you'd need one twice the size to achieve the same effective weight
