A great night to be on The Hill for the 3rd Saturday in October. Stood dang near the entire game and the fans were into it. It was loud last week against Florida but last night was louder.

I'm not happy Bama lost by any means but it does feel good to have this rivalry competitive again.
Maybe we'll go on a streak of our own, it seems almost assured cause you've got 2 teams heading in different directions. The Vols have found their guy and he's a young man, Bama on the other hand is very likely to be wandering in the wilderness of coaching changes, disfunction and loosing seasons for some time to come.

Gravey, are your ears still ringing? The only bama/ Tennessee game I've been to was in 93, my bil was yelling at me sitting beside me and I couldn't hear him , it got so loud it was just a droning sound where you couldn't distinguish one sound from another, just deafening. You could tell from the broadcast on tv it was off the charts.

It was definitely loud and I've been to a bunch over the years.

You could hear it on TV.

It was sustained and then seemed to actually go up a little late in the game in critical situations. It caused a lot of the problems that the Bama offense encountered, in conjunction with our defense.

Congrats on the win. RTR!
Since you seem to be pretty level headed about the whole thing and a great poster unlike a certain other bama fan on here I'll ask your opinion. Why on earth did DeBoer decide to drop Milroe back so much and throw that many times? That's his weakness and always has been. Granted that UT d line is tough and really hard to run on but I just thought he would keep trying it and try to get more creative with his run game as opposed to continuing to try and force the pass to Ryan Williams 50% of the time. I just did not understand bamas offensive game plan at all. It wasnt one they were gonna be able to execute at a high level I didn't think. Milroe showed early he was having a bad day with accuracy. At the end of the day I feel like it was bama strength (their O) against UT's strength (their D) and a great d much like in baseball with pitching usually contains a good O.

LOL you say that now. Oklahoma may be calling up Heupel any time now. And you still don't have a QB locked down. nico = overthrow milton 2.0

You would think with all the overthrows and turnovers the great alabama would've won. Nope. Their QB wasn't overthrowing receivers. He was overthrowing the fans in the 4th row! 😅

I didn't like the game play either. Milroe's accuracy was off and he looked shook from the beginning. He's looked that way last week as well. I thought they should have ran the ball more with the running backs. Bama running backs would have gotten better as the game went on just like Sampson did for Tennessee. The more you feed them the hungrier they get.

I feel with Milroe bama only needs a little passing to respect the run game. He's not gonna win you games throwing the ball a ton. He's shown that two straight years and I guess in my opinion you dance who you bring to the ball and they didn't. I put that game on the game plan. I'm like you in that I would have pounded the rock all day long and if I lose that way then so be it.

Several guys I work with were there and they all said it was the loudest they'd ever heard it. Two of them were there in 2022 for the Tn/Bama game and said this game was louder. One of my good buddies (diehard TN fan) said there was a fight in the stands near him between two TN fans. Apparently one of them was drunk and had thrown something and hit some Bama fans that had younger kids and was taunting them and cussing them just because they were in crimson and white. Several other TN fans tried to settle the drunk down but he wouldn't quit and finally one of them just clocked him. Both got escorted out of the game. My buddy from work said he and several other people went down and apologized to the family on behalf of TN Fans for the behavior of the drunk fan.

And the same buddy did make it onto the field. He said he about messed up...apparently there's a containment wall that you have to jump off of to get onto the field and he didn't realize how high it was til after he jumped off. He said once he was down, there wasn't any way he could get back up the same way. He said it took em nearly 2 hours to finally get out of the stadium.
