I've never had any luck with roundup. I need to get something. I've got weeds everywhere!

any reason for why no luck

Not really sure.. My yard used to be a pasture back 3 years ago. I'm not sure if it's because it's mostly crab grass or something else. I've sprayed it 1:1 all the way to 50:1 with another chemical. Just seems to kill it in certain spots.

You have to use a pre-emergent for crabgrass. Apply befoer it grows in the spring and after it stops growing in the fall.

It will start killing the weeds in a few days. You have to have it stick to the leaves. Apply the granular in the morning when the weeds are wet or you can spray a liquid form. Some really tough weeds may need to be damaged to make it more effective. I usually spray after I mow.

Now is the time to put the preemergent down. I put mine down about a week ago.

spray your yard with the proper rate of "roundup, rifle and valor" and weeds will be no problem, its the best cocktail that I have ever seen for bermuda grass cleanup in the spring when bermuda has sprouted 10% or less
