This time of year I just can't seem to sit all day. Done enough of that all November. I decided to get down and still hunt a little and walk some places I rarely visit each year. To say some of these hills are steep is a major understatement. I am half way to the top and stopped on a small flat part to rest. The deer must not mind because there are rubs all over this hill.

Heck no but I had to drag one last year out of a spot that took me 4 hours by myself. A lot of times I hunt places I know I can get one out fairly easy and I bet it cost me some good bucks over the years. I should just hunt where I know I could kill a big one and worry about getting it out after.

Yeah the hills stink. Luckily the six wheeler doesn't whine as much as i do.

I moved to middle tn 3 years ago. I thought I was deer heaven with relatively flat terrain and an abundance of game. Definitely don't missed dragging them up hill like that!

I can't tell you how many times I sat down, looked at the deer, and contemplated just cutting it's head off and saying "coyotes have to eat too". I carry 200' of rope with me in my ATV and have come up 40' short on many occasions. The steepness of the terrain in northern Davidson County and certain areas of Cheatham is unreal.
