I killed this 11 pt Saturday morning, we all know and have read have far bucks roam, but to actually have proof of it?

About 3 hours after I killed him a friend of mine called wanting
to send me pics of a buck to see if it was the same deer. There's 4 of us that control about 4,000 acres in the area all with the same goals in mind. The pics he sent me show its the same buck in velvet that has been on his farm all year, as the crow flies its 3.25 miles across up and down country, mostly wooded. Now I know
many will say it happens all the time, but so many times we all kill bucks that we see for years at a time, year round on tc's.

Just gos to show you it actually does happen at times locally

that's a nice one brother congrats!! it is amazing how far they will travel, in the east of the state ive seen them literally travel over ten- fifteen miles running all this interconnecting ridges and saddles!

Good job Jimmy I had just read your other post from that morning and suddenly I see "11Pt Down"! You must have just put up your phone and looked up and WOWZA! Tonka has arrived!

That's the proof right there. It's interesting to see them travel that much but, some are more home bodies.

Very cool to capture his movements and know your neighbors, kinda takes to the hunting to a whole other level.

Congrats!

Trophy!!!!!! wow!!! congrats......we have 3030 acres and I have same proof of deer being cammed 2-3 miles away.....but....the interesting thing about that is that below that line no bucks show up at that northern most end.....fascinating because our property runs north and south about 5 miles or so.
