I wanted a FFP scope for a prairie dog hunt and bought this scope. It also has an illuminated reticle. It's a good scope, but just too darn heavy (2.3 lbs) for me to tote. It was fine for prairie dog shooting, where we basically got out of the truck and setup. I'm going to start using this .223 for coyotes and plan to put a scope in the 1 lb range on it.
