Agreed. My hoat has 2 livewells. I now use neither. Cooler with ice for the ones that will keep. Anything over our number swims againFish taste/texture has a lot to do with how it is handled immediately after catching and then how it is prepared/cooked. It's not hard to make an otherwise great tasting fish to be terrible!! I will pass on the fish that have rode around all day in bathtub temp livewell water until they are dead or almost dead...no matter what the species is.
